The dancing duo of Katrina and Sloane based on Oakville has a growing international audience with 10 million plus youtube video views behind them already.
Fans worldwide are posting videos of them and thanking them for their helpful videos on dance, gymnastics, fitness, nutrition, healthy recipes and more.
One such video is by a girl in Norway:
Fitforafeast.com is their website where they share tips for kids, tweens and teens along with hundreds of videos and how-to videos for kids. Dancing and Cooking are two of their specialties.
Although their own town newspaper, The Oakville Beaver has shunned them because they are kids promoting health, fitness and nutrition because of a "conflict of interest with the paper's own promotional news magazine for families" - hardly impartial journalism, the worldwide press is indeed discovering the duo including a recent article in Canada's largest news magazine, Maclean's.
Usually a local paper helps promote their own, but nevertheless the duo is reaching beyond the borders of their own town to an embracing worldwide audience. Congrats to Fitforafeast! (and shame on you Oakville Beaver, wag wag wag)..
